I have been a MyPoints user for years.  They are a 100% legitimate company that pays out rewards in the form of gift cards to thousands of retailers and restaraunts!

You can earn points by shopping through MyPoints at your favorite online retailers.  You can also earn points for takings surveys and reading paid e-mails.

MyPoints is an online community where you earn points for reading e-mails, taking surveys, shopping, using their toolbar and even redeeming coupons!  Yes, from the Mypoints website you can print Coupons.com and Smartsource coupons.  When you redeem these coupons, you earn points!

While you don't earn cash from MyPoints, you can redeem your points for giftcards to Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, Shell, and countless other restaurants and retailers!  Even though it's not cash, using a gift card to buy gas or groceries means more cash in your pocket!

 Here is the monthly recap of my four favorite sites for earning a little extra cash.  Steer clear of any sites that promise you "quit your job  money" because it's a scam.  These are completely legit, two of them I have used for years.

InboxDollars
I ended October with $19.75 in my account.  I thought I did some surveys this month, but I didn't (I've been really busy!) But I did read some paid e-mails.

My goal is to get to $30 by January so I can cash out again!




MindField Internet Panel
I didn't do any Mindfield surveys this month.  I have $1 from a pending survey that cleared this month.  You only need $5 to cash out!  My goal is to be able to cash out from Mindfield again by the end of the month!  Sign up today and see if you can cash out by the end of the month!

MyPoints 
I didn't do a whole lot with MyPoints this month.  I have 2,482 MyPoints.  I'm working towards 3600 points to get a $25 giftcard to CVS! MyPoints is not really a survey site.  But it is a good way to earn gift cards but searching, shopping online, and printing coupons.  Find out more about MyPoints here.

Swagbucks 
I'm adding Swagbucks to my list because it's been a great source of extra cash recently!  I cashed in October for $15 in Amazon giftcards.  I had 76 SBs at the beginning of November. I cashed out for another $10 in Amazon giftcards and currently have 220 SBs!  Which means I have $25 in Amazon giftcards to spend on Christmas gifts.

Survey Site of the Week

If you've been following for a couple weeks, you know I've been trying to earn $8from  InboxDollars this month.  If you remember from 3 weeks ago, I was going to cash out my $32.07 (you need $30 to cash out).  They charge a $3 check processing fee to cash out so I would've only received $29.07. But they offered to waive my $3 fee if I could reach $40 in the next 30 days.
I'm not going to make it though.  I'm at $37.21.  It takes 1-2 business days for surveys to credit to your account and since it's the weekend and tomorrow is a holiday any surveys I do (and the ones I did the end of the week) will not credit in time enough to count.  Paid e-mails I read today and tomorrow will be credited instantly.  So I will probably cash out between $37.25-  $37.30 which will be $34.25 after the $3 check fee.

If you haven't joined InboxDollars yet, you really should!  It's one of the best survey sites out there.  I mean, who couldn't use and extra $30 or $40 every couple months?   For us, that's a copay when we take our son to the doctor!



I also put some effort back into MyPoints.  I have earned 40 points this week (I know, not much! I slacked this week!)  I have a total of 2,167 points.

The point values vary 50-100 points per retailer but the 3600 point range will get you a $25 giftcard to Wal-Mart, Wal-Greens, Target or CVS.  I can't figure out which one I want yet but this is my point goal.  With 1,433 points to go, I have a little time to decide which card I want!  :)

Survey Site of the Week 5/23

I did  InboxDollars again this week.  If you remember from 3 weeks ago, I was going to cash out my $32.07 (you need $30 to cash out).  They charge a $3 check processing fee to cash out so I would've only received $29.07. Sunday's Survey Site of the Week - Vindale Research, MyPoints and others

I joined Vindale research and I want to tell you about it. It's a little more than the usual survey website. This one you have to review products and services and evaluate the product/service. Which is why the surveys reward you with $25, $35 or $50 or more. It's a good opportunity to make some extra money but it will take some extra time. And you will need to balance the cost of the service vs. the reward for the survey. For example, sign up for Discover card and make at least one purchase. After you make a purchase, you submit a survey evaluating the whole process (application, getting the card, using the card, etc.) and you get $35 for it.

So yes, large amounts of money (larger than your usual $1 surveys) can be made here but go into it with eyes wide open and read everything carefully. You have to print your confirmation pages when you complete an offer for proof. Otherwise you risk not getting your reward.

Last week's survey site was MyPoints. I forgot when I decided to feature it that some points don't show up right away. While I have 120 more points in my account than I had last week, I have some points that have been credited yet (for purchases and redeeming coupons). So, oops on my part!

But if you are a couponer, I would HIGHLY recommend signing up for MyPoints because when you redeem your Coupons.com & Smartsource coupons that you printed from the MyPoints coupon center, you earn points! It's like doubling the value of your coupons!!

And now, you get 100 points for registering a credit card with MyPoints and you can earn points from eligible retailers in-store! (Previously, you had to order online through MyPoints)

And you get 100 points just for signing up today.

Sunday's Survey Site of the Week - MyPoints

This week I have chosen MyPoints to be the survey site of the week even though earning with MyPoints has very little to do with surveys. I've been a MyPoints member for years now and have earned several giftcards. In the past I've chosen Shell and Wal-Mart cards.

Right now I have 1,882 points which is more than enough to get $10 gift cards to Shell, Wal-Mart, Target, Wal-Greens and more! But I want to get 3,700 points so I can get $25 gift cards (I had my eye on the CVS $25 gift card!)

How do you earn with MyPoints? Many ways!

• Read paid e-mails for 5 points each.
• Print your Smartsource and Coupons.com coupons through MyPoints and earn 10 points for every coupon you redeem and 25 bonus points if you redeem more than 10 in a month!
• Earn points for shopping through their merchants. (Part of the reason I picked MyPoints this week is because I need to order ink for my printer! I can get points from 123InkJets.com for ordering through MyPoints! My friend, Lisa, became a member when she realized you earned poitns for shopping at Diapers.com!)
• Download their search toolbar and get points based on the number of searches you do each month.
• Sign up for their daily or weekly newsletter and get 25 points.
• Get points for referring your friends.
• Complete your member profile for 60 points.
• Plus, if you sign up right here, right now, you get 100 points!

So, my survey site challenge this week is to read all paid e-mails from MyPoints, order my printer ink and anything else I need this week through MyPoints merchants, print coupons that I can use on my next shopping trip, and use their search toolbar.

Earn Rewards with MyPoints

I've been a MyPoints member for years. I've cashed out for Gas Cards and Wal-Mart gift cards over the years.

I have 1,862 points right now which is more than enough to redeem $10 gift cards to Target, CVS, Wal-Greens, Shell, BP and Wal-Mart. Being a smart-shopper, you know $10 could go a LONG way at CVS and Wal-Greens.

I love Mypoints! I've been a MyPoints member for years. I've earned gas cards and Wal-Mart gift cards. MyPoints is similar to Swagbucks but with more ways to earn.

MyPoints gives you points for reading emails and using their search engine (you can also download their toolbar so that there search stays at the top of your browser). You also earn points for shopping at major retailers through them.

They've also recently teamed up with Coupons.com and Smartsource.com so that if you print coupons from these two sites (through the Mypoints link) you earn points when the coupons are redeemed!

If you sign up by clicking on the image above, you get 100 points. Download their toolbar ang another 100. Fill out your profile survey and get 60 points. You can earn 260 points in about 20 minutes.

I have 1,302 points right now. Most rewards start around 1,400 - 1,500 points and include things like $10 gift cards to Burger King, CVS, BP, Gap, Home Depot, Kohl's (!!!), Starbucks and much more! I'm hoping to have enough points to get a Kohl's giftcard before Black Friday!!!
